My Story

I’m Yanchi Feng, a finance-savvy problem-solver who thrives on turning complex systems into clean, auditable workflows.

Right now, I serve as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at TMX Group, where I keep federal strip-bond transactions and cross-border adjustments running smoothly while leading the Montréal TMX Running Club.

Before that, I spent two years as an Analyst at TMX, managing daily strip-bond volumes, handling shareholder communications, and ensuring flawless billing. Earlier, at TD Securities, I worked in trade finance, navigating SBLCs and global standards such as UCP 600, ISP 98, and URDG 758 while reconciling foreign-bank fees.

I also supported TD’s finance operations—preparing financial and regulatory reports, processing high-value wires, and leveraging tools like Excel, PeopleSoft, and VBA to streamline tasks.

My career started on the retail-banking side at TD, where I built a strong foundation in customer service and personal banking.

I hold a Master’s in Finance from Saint Mary’s University, which complements my practical experience with solid academic grounding.

When I’m not immersed in ledgers or fine-tuning processes, you’ll find me on the road, running and training for marathons—because life, like finance, is all about pacing, perseverance, and finishing strong.
